Biography
Gary Hawkins is an Associate Professor and Water Resource Management Specialist at the University of Georgia's Crop and Soil Science Department. As an Agricultural Engineer, he leads extension programming focused on water quality, water quantity, and water resources.
Gary’s current extension and research work addresses soil and water conservation, stormwater, well water protection, septic systems, water retention, nutrient movement, and small-scale irrigation, contributing to solutions for various water resource challenges.
