Biography

Abu-Orf "Mo" is the Residuals Group Practice Leader at Hazen and Sawyer with over 31 years of industrial experience, primarily focusing on biosolids. His expertise spans academia, applied research, and providing technical services for a major wastewater private operating company.

Mo has authored more than 150 publications and holds five patents. He also co-authored the Fifth Edition of the textbook Wastewater Engineering: Treatment and Resource Recovery. Recently, his work has concentrated on PFAS mitigation in biosolids.
