Biography

Cathy Swanson is a business development expert at Purolite Resins with 18 years of experience in ion exchange treatment for groundwater. She has played a key role in advancing solutions for contaminants such as PFAS, Perchlorate, Uranium, Chrome VI, and Nitrate.

Cathy serves as Vice Chair of the AWWA Ion Exchange Committee and co-chairs the subcommittee responsible for drafting ion exchange standards. She is also the Secretary of the CA-NV AWWA PFAS Subcommittee and is based in Southern California.
